I knew Bill from early childhood and lost track of him after high school and college (after which I moved to CA). I never knew he went to Viet Nam. I was in college during the war, but if I had my choice of people to serve next to... Bill would be on top of that list. I could always count on Bill in the many hard times we both experienced in childhood and he always maintained a cheerful disposition and outlook. Bill was a tough survivor to the challenges he faced and we shared a unique comraderie. Billy was a wonderful human being and will be missed by all who knew him.
