WILLIAM J. CROOKS, JR.

Of Brookline - but really just a kid from the North Side - on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.  Beloved husband for over 53 years of Karen M. (Nist); father of Ricky S., Greg P. (Suzy) and Jennifer (Bill) Welch.  Also nine brothers and sisters.  Grandfather of Michael, Jaylynn, Aleena, Steven, Emma, Ricky, Ryan and Peyton.

Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Monday, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 12 noon.  Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Bill was a retired City of Pittsburgh Firefighter with 25 years of service, and a U. S. Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
