VIRGINIA ANN "JEAN" PTASZKIEWICZ

Of Brookline, formerly of the South Side, on Friday, May 19, 2023.  Beloved wife of Mitchell J. for 65 years; mother of Mitchell J. "Mickey" Ptaszkiewicz (Carol), Frank E. and Michele "Shelly" Ptaszkiewicz (Tony).  Daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Jacko) Russman; sister of the late Joan Donahue and Edward "Sonny" Russman, Jr.; grandmother of Jeremy, Jamie, Brittany, Alicia, Kaylee (Grant), Lindsay (Bill) and Mitch, III; great-grandmother of Camden, Alexa, Danika, Cayson, the late Alaynna, Desiree, Breanna, Madison, Mila, Makena, Melina, Bobbie, Olivia, Easton, Savannah, Zander, and another great-granddaughter soon to arrive.

Family and friends will be received at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Tuesday only, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in St. Pius X Church (St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish), in Brookline.  Interment and a special tribute to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.

Throughout her life, paramount to Jean was her devotion to her family and her care for others before herself.
