Susan "Sue" Hillebrecht Squitieri
It saddens our hearts to announce that Sue, age 64, of Banksville (formerly of Brookline), passed away suddenly on December 1, 2023.
Sue was the daughter of the late William A. "Pat" and Anna May (Whalen) Hillebrecht, Jr.
Beloved wife of David; sister of Patsy Hillebrecht, Rose Jacobson (Rusty), and the late Debbie Lee; aunt of Justin Hillebrecht (Cassie); great-aunt of Cayleigh, Cameron and Mila; daughter-in-law of Louise Squitieri. Wonderful companion of her four-legged friends, Snowy and the late Stormy.
Sue was a loving and caring daughter, wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend, and will be dearly missed forever.
Sue loved her family and received great joy from visiting and babysitting Cameron "Cam" and Mila.
Sue was blessed with true lifelong friends, too many to name. Sue and Leslie Mangan were the best of friends through good times and hard times, and were in touch every day.
Sue was an excellent cook and loved making dinners for family and friends, and would also deliver them.
Like her Mom and Grandmother Whalen, Sue loved animals. She loved her dogs Snowy and the late Stormy, her birds, fish and turtles. Sue fed the wild birds and other wildlife.
Visitation will be private for immediate family at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065 Brookline Blvd., 412-561-0380, on Wednesday, 3-8 p.m. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, at 10 a.m., in St. Pius X Church (St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish).
