In Loving Memory

Of Brookline, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.  beloved sister of George Dott (Noreen), Paul Dott (Therese), Phillip Dott (Adele), Julie Schoppen (the late Michael).  Dear Aunt of Karen Kallam, Christopher Dott, Nicholas Dott, Jessica Montecalvo, Max Schoppen, Melissa Schoppen and the late Jeffrey Dott.  Also 5 great-nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065 Brookline Blvd., 412-561-0380, on Thursday only, 3-7 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, at 12 Noon, in St. Pius X Church (St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish).

Sue was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Loreto Church.  She served as a director in the Medicare unit at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and volunteered at Forbes Hospice, always offering her time and compassion to those in need.  She never forgot a birthday, making everyone feel seen and special.  She was the kind of person who never put herself first, facing every challenge -  especially health struggles - with remarkable strength and without complaint.  She had a deep love for her nieces and nephews, treating them as if they were her own children.  Her love for animals was another hallmark of her life.  Susan's legacy is one of kindness, faith, and unwavering dedication to others.  She was fiercely independent and loyal to her family and friends.  She leaves behind a community and her family better for having known her.
