Stephanie M. (Duffek) Morrison

STEPHANIE M. MORRISON

Age 66, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away at home surrounded by family on March 26, 2022. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Francis Duffek.  She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 42 years, Charles F. Morrison, Jr., and her caring children, Julia M. Morrison and Charles F. (Bethany) Morrison, III, her darling granddaughter, Adaline, and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Stephanie lived a positive and courageous life, always sunny and smiling in spite of her long struggles with MS.  A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, she went on to complete her Master's of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh in 1982.  She lived for the purpose of helping others, and encouraged all of those around her to achieve their greatest potential.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065 Brookline Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15226.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3040 Pioneer Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.

The family would like to thank the many people who provided care for her.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in memorial to either The MS Society or Animal Friends.
