RUTH J. GAERTNER

Of Brookline, entered into the Lord's presence on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.  Beloved mother of William (Donna) Martin, Terry (the late Sandy) Martin, James (Donna) Martin, Ellie Martin, Ruth Martin, David (Clara) Gaertner, Allan Gaertner, Nancy Breon and the late Donna (Charles) Advent.  Also survived by 27 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Saturday, 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, 1-5 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Monday, at 10 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brookline Christian Food Pantry, c/o Tree of Life Church, 1036 Brookline Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA  15226.

Ruth had a talent for needlepoint, sewing and crocheting, and was always willing to help others.  She will be dearly missed.
