Robert J. Hamilton, 88, of Brookline passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.  Beloved husband of Patricia C. (Casey), father of Karen A. Reid (Dennis), Michael J. Hamilton (Cathy) and the late Jeffrey J. Hamilton (Kim).  Brother of the late Ruth Beiter, Howard Hamilton, Irma Hamilton and William Hamilton.  Grandfather of Julie Habazin, Jonathan Hamilton, Christopher Reid, Kati  Przystup, Michael Hamilton and Elizabeth Hamilton.  Great grandfather of Cole, Kelsie, Lorraina, Sloane, Sawyer and Stevee. 

Robert dedicated many years of service as a draftsman for the United States Bureau of Mines prior to retiring. Following his retirement, he worked as a funeral limousine driver, serving funeral homes throughout the Pittsburgh area.

Robert also treasured the time he spent at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland.  He enjoyed weekends there boating, caring for his home and gardens, and making lasting memories with his family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065, Brookline Boulevard, 412-561-0380, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 only, 4-8 p.m.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Church of Resurrection, St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish.
