Robert G. Hamilton, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud veteran, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service.
Robert was the beloved husband of 43 years to his wife, Karen, whose partnership, and companionship were the cornerstone of his life. Together, they built a strong and loving family, raising four children, Erin (Joe), Robert (Cammie), Scott (Ashley) and Patrick (Mandy) who carry forward his values and spirit. He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to 2 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and other family members. Survived by his loving siblings, who will remember him for his kindness, strength, and unwavering support.
Robert dedicated many years of service as an employee of the United States Post Office, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and friendly nature. He also honorably served his country as a veteran, a role he held with deep pride.
A man of faith, Robert found great joy in singing in his church, sharing his voice and spirit with his community. He also treasured time spent at Myrtle Beach, a place that brought him peace, happiness, and lasting memories with loved ones.
Robert will be remembered for his warm heart, his devotion to family, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
