MARILYN STOKES

Marilyn Stokes passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 75. She will be remembered by her beloved husband of 45 years Robert, her daughters Emily (Justin) Calderone and Elizabeth (Thomas) Andrzejczak, her grandchildren Luke, Sam, Josephine and Johannah, her sister Patricia (Henry) Bitar, and her brother John Murphy, as well as her niece and nephews. For 37 years, she was the music director at the First Presbyterian Church of Castle Shannon and she is also the former music teacher at Hillcrest Christian Academy. Of her many accomplishments, she was most proud of the hundreds of children she guided in their musical journeys through private piano lessons.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 7, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church of Castle Shannon.  In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the church that she loved so much.
