LILLIAN HAENEL
Born February 15, 1925, to Edward J. and Rose M. (Sedolsky) Dulavitch of Brookline, Pittsburgh, PA. Lillian was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer G. (Whitey), and her cherished son, Paul Randall Haenel. She was also pre-deceased by her brothers: Howard (Rose), Paul (MaryJane), and Joe (Barbara) and sisters: Helen (Gerry), Marie (Doc) and Dorothy (Don). She is survived by her daughter, Julie Dalrymple. Lillian was very close to her niece Irene (Ron) Petrovich and is also survived by many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.
Lillian was a woman of simple tastes, was always upbeat and happy. On March 17, she passed away peacefully at 99 at Victoria Manor Nursing Home in Oakdale, PA. She enjoyed bingo and old movies, Word Search books and ocean cruising. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be offered on April 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 3040 Pioneer Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
