JOSEPH M. LONGO

Died peacefully in his sleep early Saturday, May 15, 2021.  Joe was raised in Pittsburgh's South Side before proudly serving his country as a Marine during World War II.  Joe made his home with Dorothy, the love of his life, in Brookline, where they were blessed and inseparable for 70 years.  There was never a shortage of candy in his pockets or love in his heart for his family and friends.  Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Marie, his father, Anthony, and his mother, Mary.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his children, Patricia Price (John) and Donald; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30, in St. Pius X Church (St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish), in Brookline.

Masks and social distancing will be enforced at the request of the family.
