Of Brookline, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Son of Donald W. and the late Carol Ann (Miele) Regan. Beloved brother of Mary Rose (Jake Zucco) and Don Regan. Loving nephew of Rainey Shields (Joe), Eleanor Miele (Linda Zazvrskey), Josie Soltis (Bob) and the late Justina “Tina” Cahill, Philomena “Tootsie” Mazza, Gloria M. Bonnar, Joan M. Dental, Helen “Chick” Mesko, Mary Jo Miele, Michael A. Miele, Dolores “Dolly” Miele and Janice Miele Garry. Also survived by many cousins.
In John’s younger years, he excelled at many sports including baseball, basketball and most notably boxing, where he earned three Golden Glove championships. He also enjoyed sketching, song writing and sharing his music with his loved ones. Johnny’s warm smile, quick wit and genuine charm will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065 Brookline Blvd., 412-561-0380, on Friday only (6/28), 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. for a Memorial Visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (6/29), at 10 a.m., in the Church of the Resurrection (St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish). EVERYONE, PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
