JOHN EDWARD GORAY

John passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022.  He will be remembered for his deep love for wife and family, delight in music, vibrant sense of humor and strong faith.  John took pride in his work as an insurance adjuster, especially his time as President of the Pittsburgh Claims Association.  At the McDonald’s on Mt. Lebanon Blvd., John was known by his friends for serving up quick (usually bad) one-liners when they met for coffee.  He is preceded in death by his loving parents, John V. and Madeline (Spataro).  John’s kind, fun-loving spirit is carried on by his beloved wife of 40 years, Kim (Sutter), his son John A. (Sheila), brother Robert (Jaime), Sue and Henry Egal, and countless other nieces, nephews and friends who filled his life.

 Friends and family are welcome Monday, March 14, 2-8 p.m., at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1065 Brookline Blvd. (412-561-0380).  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 15, at 10 a.m., in St. Pius X Catholic Church, Pioneer Ave., Brookline.
