Janet (Zaffuto) Kavros

Janet (Zaffuto) Kavros, born May 27, 1941, passed away with her family by her side on April 29, 2026.  She was the Daughter of Ralph and Harriett Piljuga, beloved Wife of Stephen Kavros and the late John Zaffuto.  Cherished Mother of Lisa Vietmeier (Matthew) and Dianne Deiseroth (Daniel).  Proud Mimi of Ashley (Adam), Courtney (Mark) and Danielle, Great Mimi of Alex, Addison, Madeline and John.

Janet's greatest joy was being a Wife, Mother, and Mimi.  She will be greatly missed, always Loved, and in our hearts Forever.

Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065 Brookline Boulevard, 412-561-0380, on Saturday, May 2, 2026 only, 1:00-5:00 p.m., where a blessing service will take place at 4:30 p.m.
