JANE KILBURG ALCORN ("NURSE JANE")
Age 63, of Brookline and Mt. Lebanon, died on Friday, January 22, 2021 after a valiant battle with cancer. Jane was born on April 14, 1957, in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of William and Frances Kilburg. Jane received her Bachelor of Science nursing degree from Duquesne University. She began her nursing career at Magee-Womens Hospital and went on to help care for countless children as a pediatric nurse. Most recently, Jane was the nurse for the Cleft-Craniofacial Center at UPMC Children's Hospital. Jane is survived by her husband of 37 years, Charles; her children, Katie, Dave (Iva) and Becky (Brian); her siblings, Richard Kilburg (Joy), James Kilburg (Bev) and Amy Majetic (Dennis); and by numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Frances Kilburg, and her brother, Bill Kilburg. She was a truly wonderful mother who loved her children. She inspired everyone with her compassion, generosity and selflessness, and will be greatly missed.
