JAMES G. PHILLIPS

Age 77, of Pittsburgh, peacefully, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.  Beloved husband and friend of Gail; loving father of Angela (Joe) Barker, Gregory Phillips, Kathleen (Harry) Patterson, Debra Wilke, Dennis (Mickey) Slaney and Chuck (Maryjo) Slaney; brother of the late Pat, Karen (late Richard), Tom (Chris); also eight beloved grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Jim served as a proud Sergeant with the City of Pittsburgh Police Department for 30 years until his retirement, and served in the U. S. Navy.  He will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends will be received at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Thursday, April 5, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. There will be an F.O.P. service on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Resurrection, 1100 Creedmoor Avenue, Brookline.
