JAMES R. "JIMMY" MULLEN

Of Braddock, formerly of Oakland/Uptown, on Thursday, December 2, 2021.  Beloved husband and best friend of Carmella E.; father of Shana Mullen, Jeff (Lisa) Pennetti and Dana (Shawn) McFarland; grandfather of Isabella, Shawn and Ireland McFarland, and Milan Pennetti.

Jimmy served as a Marine Combat Veteran in Vietnam, and was a Purple Heart recipient.  He was an active member and Honor Guard of Vietnam Vets, Inc. (VVI) and AMVETS Post #60.  He was also a member of the Military Order of The Purple Heart, Vietnam Vets of America, DAV #76, Italian War Veterans, The VFW and the American Legion.  He was also retired from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
