Jacqueline Margaret Niemiec
Born February 27, 1942 - June 11, 2023
Preceded in death by her parents Mary Christine and Jacob Kust. Survived by her husband Ronald Anthony Niemiec, son Michael Anthony Niemiec, daughter-in-law Kristin Niemiec, grandson Leo Roman and his mother Gina Benedict, and granddaughter Genevieve Elaine, brother Peter Kust, sister-in-law Paula Kust, niece Karen Kust and her wife Sandra Palone. Devoted wife, loving mother, pillar of the neighborhood, the fun friend, and doting grandmother. She was a force to be reckoned with.
She will be remembered for many things: her devotion to her husband Ronald with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage, her pride and love for her only son who was the apple of her eye, her sense of humor and sparkling laugh, her spotless house and amazing cooking, how she always tried to feed anyone that stopped by her home especially her son’s friends, her love of gambling and aptitude at bingo, her generosity towards many including her grandchildren who she loved to spoil. She was a powerhouse and tough as nails, and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for a loved one. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Arrangements will be made for a late-summer memorial service in Pittsburgh for remembrance by her friends and family.
