GLADE E. KNOCH
Of Brookline, on Friday, August 25, 2023. Beloved husband of Alice B. (Harrity); father of William A. (Karen J.) Knoch and Darlene Caven (Bill). Brother of Ethel Meyers; grandfather of Steven, Cindy, Kelley, Frank and Crystal; also 12 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Wednesday only, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, at 11:30 a.m., in the Church of the Resurrection (St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish), Brookline.
Glade was a retired Lieutenant with the City of Pittsburgh Fire Department. He was also Chief of the Allegheny County Airport Fire Department and Vice President of Pittsburgh Firefighters Local #1. He also served as Past Commander of American Legion Pittsburgh Firefighters Post 509 and Co-Chair of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Muscular Dystrophy Association.
