Of Brookline, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Husband of the late Rose Marie (Garrubba). Father of Edward J. (James Duesing), James A. (Mary), Joseph A. Motznik and Rosanne Caddy (Todd). Brother of Ronald Motznik (the late Catherine) and the late Joann Barth. Grandfather of Jack, Mallory and Alexis. Great-grandfather of Sofia, Gemma, Klhoe, Jessie Jr., Riley and "little Frankie".
Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065 Brookline Blvd., 412-561-0380, on Monday only, 2-8 p.m., where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. Ed was a past President of Brookline Little League for over 12 years, the founder of the Brookline Youth Soccer Association, a Youth Bowling coach at Princess Lanes, and a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels until the age of 88. He was a retired member of Teamsters #211, driving for the Pittsburgh Press. His family was very important to him, and there was a special place in his heart for his grandson Jack.
