Earl J. "Bud" Frobe

EARL J. "BUD" FROBE

Age 76, of Huntsville, Alabama, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on June 29, 2022.  Husband of Susan Frobe; son of the late Earl and Ethel Frobe; brother of the late Lois Kearns and Carol Lynn Kuba; father of Laura Goins, Dawn Frobe, Carrie Frobe (Joe Sherman), and Susan Recella (Jerry).  He was a proud "Pap" to Eric Goins, Connor, Carson, Cooper and Camden Recella, and the late Ryan Goins.  He was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Earl joined the Navy in 1965 as a Seabee, and served two tours during the Vietnam War.  He continued to serve with the Pittsburgh Police Department beginning in 1968, where he was a police officer for 25 years.

Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065 Brookline Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15226 (412-561-0380) on August 4, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., where a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 5, at 12:30 p.m.  Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
