DONALD T. CARPENTER
Of Baldwin Township, on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Beloved husband for over 73 years to Judith C.; father of Donald R. (Nancy) Carpenter, Douglas B. (Charlotte) Carpenter and Diane E. (Keith) Knechtel; brother of Eugene Carpenter, Marilyn Compel and the late Douglas L. Carpenter and Lois Hoke; grandfather of Lauren, Catherine, Beverly and Daniel; also five great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, Inc., 1065 Brookline Boulevard (412-561-0380), on Friday only, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 11 a.m.
Don was a member of Omni Lodge #509 F&AM, and served in World War II aboard The Albany and The Wisconsin. He retired from Bell Telephone in 1985.
