Charles Edward Joseph, 86, of the Hill District of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, at his residence in Baldwin Township. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rose Joseph; his children, Lori Evans, Linda Magnotti (Jeff), Monica Joseph; Charles Kazienko, and Monica Coulter (Doug); and his treasured grandchildren, Paige Evans, Michael Magnotti; Trey, Tucker, Thatcher Kazienko, Trinity Coulter. He was the son of the late Anthony and Edna Joseph of Brookline, PA, and the brother of Marilyn Torchia (Jeep), Anthony (Linda), Ronald (Virginia), and Lawrence (Maryann) Joseph and had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather (Jido), and a man whose kindness touched everyone he met. He often said that “family is everything,” and he lived by those words. He greeted everyone with a smile that could light up a room, and his warm heart and generosity made him easy to love and impossible to forget.
A devout Catholic, he attended Mass daily and prayed the rosary faithfully, along with devotions to the Blessed Mother and St. Jude. His faith guided him, strengthened him, and shaped the way he cared for others.
He built a successful career as one of the top salesmen at Inter-Ocean Insurance and proudly served as a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Teamster.
