POTENZIANI, CARL A., JR.
Of Brookline, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at age 79. He is the son of the late Carl and Helen Potenziani of the South Side. Carl is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen (Keintz). Also survived by his sons Jason and Carl II; brothers James (Holly) and Glenn (Debbie); and sisters Janice Koczerzat (Bo) and Cathy Niess. He will also be dearly missed by extended family and good friends.
Carl worked as a machinist for many years with U. S. Steel and later changed careers and became Marketing Director for Vocational Rehabilitation Services, now Life’s Work of Western PA, from where he retired. He loved listening to audio books, playing poker, fishing, spending the winter months in Florida, and always a good cigar.
As requested, there will be no viewing. Family and friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Visitation at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065 Brookline Blvd., 412-561-0380, on Thursday, October 6, from 3 to 7 p.m., where a Blessing Service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
