BERNARD V. GORSKI
Of Brookline, on Friday, April 9, 2021. Son of the late Louis and Sofie Gorski; beloved husband of Carol M. (Lynn); father of Debra Thomas, Paula (Randall) Saylor, Clifford (Kimberly) Gorski and Erik (Heather) Gorski; brother of Louis (Jacqueline) Gorski, Henry (June) Gorski, and the late Dorothy Staus; also 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Tuesday only, 2-4, 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in the Church of the Resurrection (St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish). Due to the pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
Bernie was an avid stamp and coin collector, a lover of opera and classical music, as well as world history. He was retired from the University of Pittsburgh in the Maintenance Department.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Vincentian Marian Manor, or the American Diabetes Association.
