ARMOND M. CREO, JR., retired math teacher in the City of Pittsburgh, died peacefully in his sleep, after a brief illness. Son of the late Phyllis and Armond M. Creo, Sr.; brother of the late Anna Marie (Joseph) Marchese. He is survived by his loving nephew, Joseph (William) Marchese, and nieces, Lisa (Michael) Kvak and Joanne Marchese, as well as many beloved cousins and more friends than anyone can count.
Armond was well known for his passion for golf, continually working out with his friends at Anytime Fitness, tutoring in math to friends and family, and always engaging acquaintances who would become fast friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and would play the occasional harmless prank. To know Armond was to have an abundance of friendship and joy in your life, and he will be missed by all who knew him. He trained his beautiful dog, Tiva, to learn Italian, and she has agreed to go with nephew, Joseph, to be a beach bum in the Outer banks and playfully annoy her cousins, Penny and Snoop. We will miss Armond's sense of worth, laughter and friendship, and wish an expedient journey for his soul.
Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, 1065 Brookline Blvd., 412-561-0380, on Friday, 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., where a Blessing Service will begin at 6:30 p.m.
