Ann ‘Lee’ Phillips (aka Ann ‘Lee’ Jeffers) left us December 14th, 2025, at the age of 82. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Grace, her sisters, Farley and Duffy, and her brother, John and his wife Polly. She is survived by her daughters, Devon (Ian), Jennifer, and Cara (Brett) and her four grandsons Hannibal (Joanna), Wyatt, Mitchell, and Sam along with beloved cousins including Jimmy and Lucy Kelly, nephews, nieces, and many friends that became family. A lifelong Pittsburgher and community advocate, if you knew Lee, you know she was as funny as she was kind. If you are looking at her photo and thinking you met her, she may have been a stranger who saw you walking on a rainy day and offered you a ride. Donations to Phillips Elementary are welcome (https://www.donorschoose.org/schools/pennsylvania/pittsburgh-public-schools/pittsburgh-phillips-elementary-school/88705) or choose to honor her by enjoying some of her favorites: chardonnay & brie, smashburgers & vanilla milkshakes, a British mystery, or a TJ Maxx and Marshall’s visit. A cocktail party to celebrate her life will be held after the holidays.
