WILLIAM W. MERCHANT

Of Baldwin Township, on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.  Beloved husband of Bernice K. (Shaynock); father of Alice Joy Minton (Gavin), Robert S. (Theresa), and John J. Merchant; brother of Sally Merchant (and dog, Katie), and Allan Merchant (Elizabeth); grandfather of John, David, Rebekah, Lucas and Jackson.

Family and friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Sunday, December 30, from 1 to 5 p.m., where a service will be held on Monday, December 31, at 10 a.m.

Bill was an avid hiker and was proud of his hike to Cape May, NJ from Pittsburgh.  He was a 30-year employee of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers in the Hydrology Department.  Bill had a great sense of humor, especially his puns and palindromes.
