THERESA J. "TERRY" BRUST

Of Brookline, age 88, on Friday, February 23, 2018.  Wife of the late Frederick; beloved mother of Fred "Bud" (Milica), Don (Marita), Jeff (Debbie) Brust, Judy (the late Jim Doby) Brust, Carolyn (Jim) Skiff, and the late Kathy Ladebue; sister of Arlene Kemmler and the late Lawrence Halligan, John Halligan, Jr., Dorothy Clark and Mary Jane McGrath; also 18 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 10 a.m., in the Church of the Resurrection (Brookline).

Theresa was a stay-at-home mom who cooked homemade meals daily.  A native of the North Side, Terry became very active in the Brookline community.  She was a Girl Scout leader, a Resurrection School volunteer, a Mercy Hospital volunteer, a Brookline Breeze volunteer, and a softball coach.  A mother of six, Terry obtained her Associate's Degree in Business from Robert Morris University at the age of 55, while working full-time.
