MARGARET SHOLLITO

Age 80, of Brookline, formerly of Lebanon, peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late William A.; daughter of the late Youssif Boulos Elmakary and Zahia Asad Yamine; loving mother of Kathy (Bill) Proudfoot and Bill (Nadine) Shollito; sister of Yesmine Elmakary and the late Suad and Budway Elmakary; grandmother of Simone (Jeffrey) Hilty; great-grandmother of Sydney Hilty; sister-in-law of the late John (Betty) Shollito, Madeline (Albert) Tedesco, Virginia (Richard) Lewis and Ann (Joseph) Kanfoush.  

Friends and family will be received at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., on Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.  Divine Liturgy on Friday, at 10 a.m., in Our Lady of Victory Church, 1000 Lindsay Rd., Scott Township.  Service of Incense on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.

Margaret was a passionate Middle Eastern chef, most known for her cooking at Samreny's Restaurant in Oakland.
