HENRY J. SUFFOLETTA
Of Mt. Lebanon, on Thursday, March 22, 2018. He was the brave, kind and beloved husband of Nancy (Abraham). Henry was born in Midland, PA in 1937. He was a gifted athlete who attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1955-59 where he was a varsity letterman in football. He was a field agent for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. for 40 years and after his retirement in 2001, his former clients continued to rely on him for wise and caring counsel. He was the son of the late Henry and Anne Suffoletta. In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his sister, Marcia (Peter) Benedict; a nephew, Matthew (Jayne) Benedict; and nieces, Jeanne (Scott) Fairchild, Brigid (Joseph) Rossler and Jennifer Benedict.
Family and friends will be received at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Monday, March 26, from 9 to 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in St. Pius X Church (Brookline).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Henry's name to Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh, 1816 Locust Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, or to the Alzheimer's Association of Pittsburgh, 1100 Liberty Avenue, Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Burial is private for immediate family only.
