RUTH O'BRIEN

Age 91, peacefully passed away on August 30, 2017, at Baptist Homes in Pittsburgh (Mt. Lebanon), PA.  She is survived by her brother, Bob (Jill) Rittiger and sister-in-law, Mary.  She was beloved by her children, Pat (Jerri), Dan (Ann), Kathy (Regis), Mike, Kevin (Jerry), her grandchildren, Danielle, Kelly, Tim, Lizzy, Patrick, Ellen, Christopher, katie, Ashley, Harris and Maya.  Also her 16 great-grandchildren, her beloved Betsy (Vann) Covington, and countless nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, her son, Timmy, and her grandson, Shawn.  Ruth loved pink roses and butterflies, but most of all she loved the time she spent with her family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 1, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Baptist Homes Nursing Center (Mt. Lebanon).  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Baptist Homes Nursing Center, 489 Castle Shannon Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA  15234.
