OSWALD LERACH

Of Brookline, age 80, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.  Beloved husband of Hildegard "Hilda;" father of the late Ozzie A. and Heide Lerach McFadden; grandfather of Amber Lerach Kolesar, Jordan Oswald Lerach, Megan and Matthew McFadden; beloved Papa of great-grandchildren, Morgan, Reese and Quinn Kolesar; father-in-law of Linda Lerach; brother of Irma, Renata, Hilda and Elsie; brother-in-law of Rita Waltz and Richard Low; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and his beloved rescue cat, Kitty.

Friends will be received at Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home, Inc., 1065 Brookline Boulevard, 412-561-0380, on Friday only from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 3, at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, Brookline.  

Mr. Lerach was raised in Austria and came to the United States in 1952.  Shortly after arriving he began working at Kribel's Bakery in Brookline.  He worked his way up and eventually became the wedding cake baker and decorator until his retirement in 2004.
