AUDREY MAE (SCHAEFFER) GALL

Age 84, of Baldwin Twp., peacefully on Sunday, October 22, 2017.  Born on February 9, 1933, on the South Side, to the late August S. and Gertrude V. (Williams) Schaeffer.  She was the sister of the late August F. Schaeffer.  Audrey's Roman Catholic Faith was the foundation of her life.  Through her 20s she was a member of St. Michael's Church on the South Side, and for the past 60 years was a parishioner at the Church of the Resurrection, in Brookline.

Loving mother of Susan Gall and Karen Geraci; devoted grandmother of Michelle (Brian) Malloy; doting great-grandmother of Dyson and Amira.  She was also the devoted Mummy of her canine companion, Bubba.

Friends and family will be received at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25, from 2 to 8  p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Resurrection.

Audrey relished Bingo, bus trips, gardening and road trips.  She loved spending time with her granddaughter, great-grandbabies, the ladies in the "Southview Sewing Circle," her neighbors from Highridge, and a multitude of other friends, relatives and co-workers from Landmark Savings.  Her lasting legacy was her love and direct sense of humor.
