ALBERT H. BRUCKMAN

Of Brookline, age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2016.  Al was a WWII veteran who served in the U. S. Navy.  He worked for 40 years at Bearing Service Corporation. One of his most gratifying accomplishments was serving as Director of Brookline Meals on Wheels for 30 years.  He especially liked telling jokes, golfing, spending family Sundays together and helping others.  Al was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Norma (Smith) Bruckman.  He is survived by his three loving daughters, Debra Bruckman (David Stone), Sandra (Auggie) Burns and Cynthia (Frank) DeAngelo.  He so loved his eight grandsons, BJ Burns, Ryan (Michelle) Steen, Dan Steen, Michael, Mark and Jonathan Burns, and Bradley and Todd Stone.  Also survived by his brother-in-law, Edward Singer, who he loved like a brother, and his family.  

The family is holding a private ceremony and suggests memorial contributions be made to Brookline Meals on Wheels, c/o St. Mark Lutheran Church, 933 Brookline Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA  15226.
